Mentorship for New Doulas —

Guided Growth from Birthworker to Confident Professional

Step into your role as a doula with clarity, confidence, and the steady support of someone who’s been where you are.

About the Program

Starting out as a doula can feel both exciting and overwhelming. You’ve completed your training, your heart is full, and you’re ready to serve — but you might still have questions about what comes next:

How do I find clients? What does professional sustainability look like? How can I stay grounded while supporting others through such powerful life transitions?

That’s where this mentorship comes in.

With over two decades of experience in the Denver birth community, I created this program to walk beside new doulas as they take their first steps into the work. Together, we’ll blend practical guidance with heart-centered wisdom — helping you build a solid foundation in your skills, your confidence, and your identity as a birth professional.

This hybrid mentorship is offered both in person and online, providing flexibility while still honoring the power of connection and community. You’ll receive personal guidance, access to group sessions, and a space to explore real-life scenarios, ethics, client communication, and the art of sustaining yourself in this work long-term.

This program is for you if you’re:

  • A newly trained or soon-to-be-certified doula seeking guidance and direction

  • Craving connection with an experienced mentor and community of peers

  • Ready to grow your confidence, professionalism, and intuitive skills

  • Wanting to bring balance, compassion, and sustainability into your birthwork journey

By the end of our time together, you’ll not only feel capable — you’ll feel rooted.

Rooted in your values. Rooted in your confidence. Rooted in the knowing that you were meant to do this work.

 About the Mentor

Hi, I’m Jacie, founder of Denver Babies — a doula, educator, and mentor who’s been walking alongside birthing families and new doulas in the Denver community for over 20 years.

This work has shaped me in every way — as a mother, a teacher, and a witness to the power of birth. Over the years, I’ve seen how much new doulas benefit from having someone they can trust — someone who understands not just the logistics of the work, but the emotional landscape too.

My approach to mentorship is gentle, real, and rooted in connection.

I’m here to help you build confidence, find your rhythm, and stay connected to the “why” behind your work — because birthwork isn’t just a job. It’s a calling.

Whether we meet over coffee, in a circle, or through a screen, you’ll always be met with honesty, encouragement, and deep respect for the journey you’re on.

Guidance. Grounding. Growth
